So, the image. It's for The Pin-Up Portfolio ( http://pinupportfolio.com/ ). A samurai-themed red panda done in markers, pencils, coloured pencils, ballpoints, gouache, acrylics, and conté. The colours are a lot nicer than my watercolour paintings, but this media takes way too long.
Thumbnail looks way better than the fullview. I screwed up on the uh symmetry and some angles (such as the short sword). Left the flag for last. By that point I was bored so I half-assed it blah blah blah. Note to self: STOP. BEING. LAZY.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow. Boo frickity hoo.

This is a book assignment for my art class. I don't think my teacher is impressed because it isn't conceptual enough. (Which sucks because I wasted a lot of time on it). I chose horoscopes because I couldn't think of anything else (personally, I think horoscopes are bullshit and whoever pays people to write them is being screwed over, no offence).
My attempt to finish binding the book hasn't completely failed yet, but DAMN- it's so frustrating I want to throw it at someone.
Broke a sewing needle in half (WTF needle why do you fail me now?!), super glued my hand.. etc, etc. Thing is falling apart in general.
[Edit: The assignment was to make a book that illustrates a personal list or set of things (minimum 10) in whatever media. It was also supposed to be conceptual so.. i r fail yay oh well]
